War will break out at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia when middleweight champion Anderson Silva will go up against TUF one winner and former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Forrest Griffin, at UFC 101 fight card on August 8th.

Even though this fight is not the main event, most MMA fans will be looking forward to it more than Penn Vs Florian, and Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffin is going to be one great show.

Anderson Silva has an impressive UFC record of a nine fight win streak, although his last two fights raised doubts about his drive and hunger to compete and entertain since he has already done so much in the UFC. Silva still has a variety of options with UFC, which include continuing to fight at 185 and defend against the multiple number one contenders, a super- fight against GSP, or continue to fight at light-heavyweight hopefully leading to a Silva-Machida super-fight.

However, since his last two not-so-impressive fights, the UFC has apparently given Anderson a bone in the form of a fight against Forrest Griffin at UFC 101. While many people are already looking at who else Anderson has to beat until he fights Machida, you cannot underestimate Forrest. It has been a long time for Forrest Griffin, but it still must be remembered that he had won “The Ultimate Fighter Finale” against Stephan Bonnar in 2005. This fight is still considered to be one of the greatest matches ever seen inside the Octagon, with Forrest Griffin even becoming the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Griffin has had significant victories over favorites like Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. His rampage hi a stumbling block suddenly with his loss to Rashad Evans. No doubt, a win over Anderson Silva on August 8 could bring Griffin back to the title race.

While statically the match favors Anderson, Griffin is very unpredictable in his methods and is also much stronger than Anderson. This fight holds the promise of pitting two of the world’s best fighters and will definitely generate a lot of hype.

imageFor the first time ever, Wachovia Center in Philadelphia will be where the action is when UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn will take on top contender Kenny Florian to defend his title on August 8 in the main fight match.

 

Following the UFC 101 live declaration on August 8, the fight will take place the nest evening where Penn and Florian will stop at nothing to put the other down. It is no secret that both fighters have been training for this event for months now and are totally focused ton the fight.

This is the first UFC event ever to be held in Philadelphia. Weighing 155 pounds, Penn is a dominating champion with a long list of accomplishments to his name. Nicknamed “The Prodigy” for his extraordinary ju-jitsu skills and flexible limbs – a combination that makes him extremely dangerous on the ground – Penn somehow doesn’t seem to intimidate Florian.

“On fight night I’ll still respect his skills and what’s he’s accomplished, but I’ll disrespect his strategy,” Florian said.

Penn on the other hand is also completely focused on fighting Florian. He remains the favorite for going into this fight despite his occasional erratic behavior. Penn is possibly the most accomplished submission fighter in the country right now.

Penn’s loss to St. Pierre in the January 31st bout was obviously a severe blow to his psyche, and he is rearing to win back his self respect: “I don’t know, it’s 6 to 8 months since the fight and at the end of the day, I got to get back in the Octagon and I got to kick somebody’s ass. I could almost still be down there feeling sorry for myself, you know, feeling like the world’s coming down on me. You got to stand up and especially if you’re a champion, what kind of champion is not going to get back on their feet?” he said.

Florian still remembers his first UFC title fight, where his efforts for the 155-pound title was spoiled in a bloody, five-round contest against then-champion Sean Sherk in 2006. Florian is determined not to lose this time.

Florian, who hails from Westwood, Mass., said: “I’ve just been training consistently, year-round. You have to be honest with yourself. I don’t consider myself a fighter; I have always considered myself a martial artist.”

Ingredients :

  • Medium sized Pork Leg/Pork Shank
  • 1 Glass/bottle of Sprit or 7-up ( Lemonade will do)
  • 1 1/2 Cups of water
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsbp salt
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp msg or vetchin
  • 2-3 cups of water ( covering the pata for boiling)
  • Oil ( enough for deep frying)

Sauce Ingredients :

  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 medium sized onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
  • 1-2 small red chilli pepper chopped
  • salt and pepper

Procedure :

  1. Clean the pork shank/pork leg ( remove remaining hairs ) and slit skin on both side (3-4 slits) without cutting the bone.
  2. Place it in a deep pan with tight cover
  3. Add water, 7-up, msg and salt. Bring to a boil after 15 minutes, add baking soda. Baking soda will hasten the softening of the pata’s skin. Continue cooking for another hour or until tender. If water dries up and pata is not yet done, add another cup of water. Drain when done.
  4. Hang for 1 day or place in refrigerator overnight to make skin dry. Before frying, brush with patis (fish sauce) and sprinkle with flour generously.
  5. Deep fry until crispy and golden brown. Put off heat and pour 1/4 cup water. This will make the skin more crispy.
  6. Serve it with cracklings side dish! Enjoy eating!

Yes wordwide! It’s only a simple race where you will chose among loads of characters like Mario and Luigi of course. The best part on this game was connecting in WFC where you can play with you relatives or friends abroad thru Wi-Fi. That’s pretty amazing!  Me and my husband always play with my brother living and working in Kuwait. We always have a great bonding even by just playing this Mariokart.

There are loads of games you can chose from. The only problem with this Wii Console was the price of each games. Its a bit expensive for just one game especially when you buy rubbish games that’s not your cup of tea. Anyway, the only suggestion I can provide is make sure you read all the game reviews before buying it.

Another best thing in this Nintendo Wii is the Wii Fit. I bought Wii Fit 2 weeks ago and I found it really amusing. It will help you with you posture, weight loss and everything. Recommended for those mommies who are busy working and cant find time to go to gym or rarely find time to bond with their kids. This is really great especially the test that you have to do before the Wii Training begins. I was disappointed with the result of my Wii Test because it appears that I am Underweight and worst, my Wii Fit Age is 37. Meaning I’m 10 years older with my real age. Can you imagine that? The Wii Fit will then tell you what to do next and suggest what exercise is best for you. For gaining you have to undergo Muscle exercise but for those who need losing weight, they have to do aerobics. Yoga and other game activities are also included in the Wii Fit pack like Hula-Hoop, Swimming, Jogging and dance steps that will burn some calories to lose weight. I will post more updates about this Wii Fit again once I’ve done all the exercises and activities with it. For now, carefully read these benefits i’ve written here. This is strange because I already have Quick Time player in my PC, so I decided to uninstall the Quick Time. Unfortunately, before I can complete the Quick Time removal process, my PC is asking me to locate the QuickTime.msi !  Sounds familiar huh?..

After researching here is how I solved this Quick Time.msi problem:

  1. Download Your Uninstaller here
  2. Install the software and remove the Quick Time using YourUninstaller
  3. After the uninstallation finish it will tell you that there is still uninstallation error. Just nevermind it proceed to step 4
  4. YourUnstillaer will say that it found registry related to Quicktime, remove these.  These are the reason for the Quicktime.msi error.
  5. Restart your PC
  6. Install new Quicktime

After the smooth Quick Time installation , my shiny iPod is now ready to sync to the iTunes :)
